This incident resulted in the temporary shutdown of the CTA tunnel and the Terminal 3 parking area.

Two more people are now in custody related to a theft at London's Heathrow Airport where 21 people sustained injuries by what is thought to be pepper spray, according to police.

A 24-year-old man, was arrested in the Lambeth area for suspected theft and assault and a woman, 23 was arrested for suspected conspiracy to commit robbery. Both individuals are still being held, authorities confirmed.

These detentions come after an investigation into an attack at the multi-storey car park at Heathrow's Terminal 3 this past Sunday. Before the incident, two women had stolen from them their suitcases after getting out of a car park lift.

A toddler aged three was one of the injured in the event. Five people went to hospital for treatment and have since been released.

Police arrested a 31-year-old man for suspected robbery and assault close to the scene. He has since been released pending further inquiries while inquiries continue.

Authorities were alerted at approximately 08:10 GMT after reports came in regarding a number of people injured by a noxious substance believed to be an irritant spray.

The assault - which authorities stated was a standalone incident and not considered an act of terror - resulted in delays to rail services and the partial closure of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the T3 parking facility briefly.
